In the third match of BBL season 6 it is the clash of Melbourne Renegades considered to be top bowling unit of this season with presence of Sunil Naraine , Bradd Hogg and Dwayne bravo in their bowling line up who take on title holders from BBL 5 Sydney Thunder who are already down with a loss in opening game of the season against state rivals Sydney Sixers. The game is going to be played at the Docklands stadium which is the only cricket stadium which has a cover on top and can’t be interrupted by rain.

 

Pitch & conditions
Traditionally it has been a pitch which assists good shot making but it also assists fast bowlers with new ball with a bit of movement once the ball gets old it comes on nicely on to the bat and you can expect big scores at this venue. Weather is going to be sunny and a bit warm with temperature ranging between 17-22 Celsius. No chances of rain if it rain’s then too they have a cover.

Watch out for

Sunil Narine the mystery spinner from West Indies is back into the BBL after playing for Sydney Sixers in season 2 he is part of Melbourne Renegades side this time and will want to announce himself big to the West Indian selectors by performing for Renegades in BBL. If he finds his rhythm right it is going to be a nightmare for for opposition’s batsmen.

 

Arjun Nair 18 year old allrounder from Canberra made a name for himself in this year’s Metador cup where his bowling action was found to be similar to that of Sunil Narine and his bowling was as effective as well. He has been drafted into the Thunder’s squad for second game of this season and would be a big stage for this youngster to showcase his talent.

Melbourne Renegades
They will be without their quick bowler James Pattinson who has been ruled out of this fixture due to mild hamstring strain. Rest they have full squad available with presence of captain Finch ,White , Hogg , Bravo and Narine it would be a very tough team to beat
