Strengths : Sydney Thunder has a power-pack line up with presence of the two world class all-rounders in form of Shane Watson and Andre Russell these two can win games single handedly from any opposition. Presence of 2 top quality all-rounders also adds balance to any side. They too have a very good bowling line up with presence of Pat Cummins ,Gurinder Sandu and Clint McKay .
Weakness : Their batting line up looks a bit weak with Usman Khawaja not available for most of the tournament due to national duties. Other than Watson , Russell and Morgan they don’t have a top quality batsmen in their squad. They are heavily dependent on these three. Morgan is also set to miss later half of the tournament due to national duties.
Andre Russell you can also call him Dre Russ the superman from West Indies is a superstar in Sydney Thunder line up. 8 runs required in the last over for opposition to win he is there to defend. 16 – 20 runs required in last over for you to win he is there. Ball flying towards six he is there to time the jump and catch it for you. There is nothing on a cricket field that he can’t do.
